Cloud (0-10) .. ..5 4 The readings taken at the Ashburton Domain weather station at 9 a.m. yesterday were:—Barometer. 29.9; thermometer, me<x. 45, min. 24; frost, 13deg. SUMMARY AND FORECAST. Cold and changeable weather has ruled. Stormy conditions, with rain and hail showers, were experienced in. many parts during Tuesday nijht. High eouth-weat winds have predominated, and atmospheric pressure has increased, but is st£l .considerably below normal over the Dominion. Preeent indications are for strong southerly winds, and the barometer rising fast everywhere soon. Cold, squally, a r d showery weather is probable generally with/dnow on the higher levels.
