A Palestine official report says: — "On the Abu Tellul ridges, northwards of Jericho, the enemy attacked, and at first penetrated our lines. "The Australians and New Zealandcrs counter-attacked and restored the position, taking 400 prisoners, of whom 160 were Germans."
