CASUALTIES.
On Saturday evening a man named j A. P. Lunnz, of West Molton, had a i severe fall from his cycle on tho Main South road. A motorist picked him : up and brought him into-the Christ- ! church Hospital, where ho is getting on well. Henry Huggard, a middle-aged man, a resident of Waiau, was knockcd down by a tram in the Square on Saturday eveniug, and received injuries to his head, for which he was treated at the Hospital. Mr Ronald Opie, a son of Mr C. H. Onie, chairman of the Canterbury Education Board, met with a severe accident on Saturday afternoon, falling hoavdy from hi 3 motor-cycle on the Pananui ' road. Mr Onie received rather revere injuries to his hqad, and was picked tin unconscious, but last nifVit. h's condition was said to be "sntisfa-tory."
