PRETORIA, July 11. General Botua, in accordance with his promise, met a representative gathering of natives, who voiced their grievances.

These were largely economic, and included the cost of living and the question of compensation in the event of death or disablement.

General Botha promised to fully consider the representations on receipt of a report from the Commissioner appointed to investigate the nativ© grievances.
