TO STUD MASTERS.
THE STALLION SEASON Is now drawing sear, and we beg to point out to Owners of Stallions the medium offered by the ''.Referee" through which to let owners of thoroughbred matrons know whpt horses will be at the disposal of breeders. No medium for announcements of thiß description IN ANT WAY EQUAL TO "THE WEEKLY PEESS AND REFEREE" can be found in New Zealand. It is subscribed to by all Breeders, Owners, Racing Men, nnd Sportsmen geneTally THROUGHOUT NEW ZEALANI), and naturally they look (and more especially as it is the Official Racing Calendar for New Zealand) to its columns for what most concerns them. As, in addition, EACH SIRE OF THE SEASON advertised in its columns will form (as in past seasons) the subject cf A SPECIAL ARTICLE, which will be accompanied by & TABULATED PEDIGREE OF ' THE HORSE, the advantages to advertisers of tlas class of stock are too obvious to need further comment. The terms are on the most liberal scale; and those Studmasters not already acquainted with them should lose no time jn making the necearary arrangements for the publication of their intentions. A Speciality will be made of ILLUSTRATED ANNOUNCEMENTS. PHOTOGRAPHS ~OF STALLIONS will be reproduced in the pictorial Eection. For terms and further particulars apply THE MANAGER, ' Christchurch Press Company, Ltd., Cathedral square and Worcester street, CHRISTCHURCH, MA
