SHIPPING NOTES. Mr P. Mudle has signed on the Manuka ns chief engineer in place of Mr T. Anderron. Mr R. Thompson, wireless operator, has signed off - the vessel. Mr A. Finlayson has signed on the Kowhai as mate, replacing Mr P. W.' Inkster. The.'Te Anau will load general cargo at Wellington to-morrow for discharge at Bluff. The Orepuki, with general cargo, will leave Lyttelton about 5 p.m. to-day for Greymouth.
The Calm ■is due at Wellington 'to-morrow to load for Lyttelton, Timaru, end Dunedin-. Mr W. Hood, engineer of the Que'-n of the. South,, has 'been mjooee*?c«3 by Mr O. Pearson.; Mr J. N. .Gill has signed off the Karamu as third engineer. • From Melbourne direct the Huddart-Par-ker"€ompany'a steamer Westralia was due at Wellington late last night or early this morning.' After discharging passengers and cargo. the vessel will leave to-morrow for southern points. It is expected that she will jet away next Saturday from Bluff, her destination being Melbourne.
