LONDON, July 5.
The Press Bureau states that Mr Lloyd George telegraphed to General Pershing that America's entry intqfthe struggle was a sure proof that the mistakes and misunderstandings formerly separating the two countries were being transformed into a genuine friendship in the fiery furnace of common sacrifice.

Mr Newton D. Baker, in a statement saya that the American army at home and abroad consists of 160,000 officers and 2,010,000 men. America, Mr Baker says, has produced 1,300,0<JU rifles, and is producing 80 aeroplanes weekly.
