MEETINGS AND SOCIALS.
RECHABITE LODGE. Tho -half-yearly meeting of the St, Albftßt Rechabite Tent was largely attended. Motions were passed opposing the postponement of the .District meeting to 1920, and of the formation of a Rechabite Advisory Board'far Canterbury.Tho Chief Ruler and secretary were appointed delegates. It was resolved that tho Tent bo represented at tho approaching Prohibition Convention. Officers were installed as follows:—Chief Ruler, Bro, A. Martin; Deputy Ruler, Bro H. N. Dollnn; secretary, Bro. A. D. Hassail; treasurer, Bro. C. N. Watson; cash steward, Bro. Marshall; book steward, Sister Hewitt; minute secretary. Bro. Brewott; 'Larite, Bra. A. Genet; guardian, Bro. W. Cock. In recognition of past servioes it was resolved; to mako a euitablo presentation to tho secretary. Attention was called to the large increase in-tho quantity of liquor imported into tho Dominion, aftd a motion deploring the fsoi that such a oondition of affairs should exist was passed.
