PETITION ' AGAINST RETURN OF MR HOLLAND. (press association telecrau.) GREYMOUTH/July 4. An election petition is being filed with tho Returning Officer for the district of Grey against the return of Mr H. E. Holland. Various grounds are alleged, the principal being that a largo number of persons voted who. had not resided in the Grey district for six months prior to the election.. If the allegations are proved it is withiu tho power of the Electoral Court to declare the petitioner, Mr T. E. Coates, elected as member for Grey, and there will be no need for a fresh election.
