TGE DELCO LIGHT.
AN EFFICIENT SUBSTITUTE. Those who hare suffered inconvenience during the last two days owing to tho failure of the ordinary lighting should pay a visit to the hardware department of the New Zealand Farmers' Co-operativo Association, Ltd., where tho failure of the Lake Coleridge supply has been made up for by the firm's Delco lighting demonstration plant. The Delco light showroom is situated next door to the hardware department, and a hole has been made in th? -R-all to allow a wire to be led through. The electricians are this afternoon engaged fn installing 20 32-candle power lights, which will obviate the necessity for working by candle light and kerosene lamps this evening. Yesterday "The Farmers? had to close at about 4.30 p.m., on account of the failure of the electric light, but the hardware department at least will be able to do business until the ordinary closing hour today. No better proof of the efficacy of the Delco light could he required than this temporary measure, for the manner in which "The Farmers" demonstration plant has been brought to the rescue under the present abnormal circumstances is sufficient in itself to recommend it to prospective purchasers. It may be added that the plant is fed by kerosene, so that there is no danger of a shortage of supplies. 16
