SUNDAY CONCERT.
A worse night than last night for an entertainment could hardly have been imagined, but in Bphe of the cold and rain a large audience assembled in Everybody's Theatre to listen to the 6econd of a series of Sunday concerts organised with a view to raising money for the Lady Liverpool Christmas Parcel Fund for the boys at the front. The concert, which had been arranged by Mrs Burnes Loughnan, was an excellent one, several _ lond : *iT artHs havinsr generously given their services for the goii cause. Madame Go ns ssnjj "Hark My Soul it is the Lord" 'Ccuod) and "Lo, Hear the Gentle Lark" (Bishop) wit'i flute obblisrato by Mr E. Jamicsoa; Miss Marion "Woo {house 'Handel) with 'cello obbligato bv Mr G. Martinengo, "Sunset and Sunrise (Spioss), and "Patriotic Hymn" (Greig). Mr Ar.'hnr Macdonald sang "Even Bravest Hearts" (Gonnod), and Mr C. Clarkson "Arm, Arm, Ye Brave" (Handel). 'Cello eolos were played by Mr G. Martinengo and pleasing selections were contributed by Everybody's Orchestra, under the baton of Mr Beliingham. His Worship the Mayor, at the conclusion of the concert, thanked the management of Everybody's for kindly lending the theatre for a series of concerts during Julr and also stated that Messrs Auleebrook and Co. had (liven 2500 of the 7500 Christmas puddings needed, the New Zealand Refrigerating Cohaving offered to boil and tin them free of charge.
