RUBBING AN ITCEY ANKLE STARTS ULCERS.
SENSATIONAL ZAM-BUK HEALING. "About six months ago," said Mrs Clara Blakely, of 48 Anglesea street, Waverley, Sydney, "whilst suffering from a slight itching irritation on my right ankle, I rubbed it with the stocking heel of my left foot. Dirt or dye must have got into the broken skin, for within a few days the limb began to swell dreadfully, and cause me awful pain. Moving about while attending to my usual household duties soon made the leg a lot worse. . "Then first one ulcer appeared, and soon after four others broke out, while all the timo the swelling continued to get greater, until it spread right up to abovo the knee joint. Round the was in a shocking condition. "The local chemist was so alarmed at the 6tate of the limb that he would! have nothing to do with it. I then went to the hospital, where they tried various methods of treatment, some of them most agonising. Where proud flesh had formed they endeavoured to burn it out with bluestone; but I got no respite from suffering. The pain nearly drove me mad, and at night I could not sleep. Then my other it-g began to be affected, and also broke into sores. Though I lived in dread cf the hospital I kept up their treatment, until I was told of the wonderful healing powers of Zam-Buk, and pura pot. When I tore off the bandages and hospital dressing and put on Zam-Buk thq relief from pain that it brought was heavenly. "Further applications of the balm drew all the badness and watery matter out of the ulcers, and tho swelling and inflammation subsided. I was grateful to know that I was on the road to recovery, and I eagerly persevered with Zam-Buk. Whereas at one time I was unable to keep from rubbing at my legs owing to the intense itching irritation, Zam-Buk soothed the sore places so well that I never wanted to scratch. I kept on with Zam-Buk until all trace of the swelling was gone, the ulcers completely healed, and both legs were quite sound and strong again." Zam-Buk, obtainable of all chemists and stores, is also unequalled for eczema, ringworm, poisoned wounds, ulcers, piles, festering sores, burns, scalds, pimples, rashes, itchy spots, etc. Is 6d and 3s 6d everywhere. 4
