Colonel Gibbs, who died in England a few weeks ago, is described as the greatest expert with, the small-bore or match rifle who ever attended Wimbledon or Bisley. "I once saw him," says a correspondent, "make 91 consecutive 'bulls' at the Sticklcdown Range at Bisley, and the ninety-second shot was an inner. The colonel gave me his diagram, and it is now in the possession of Lord Southdown.'' ,
