CROQUET.
LINWOOD CLUB. A croquet tournament 'iVas held on the Linwood green on Saturday, in aid of tho Lady Liverpool Fund. During the afternoon a cake mado and presented by Mrs John Jamieson was raffled, and brought in £2 3a. Mr Sydney Jones presented the prir.es for the tournament, Mrs I'apps winning in tho first grade, and Mrs Wood in tho second. Tho club's c/fort resulted in adding £5 Os 2d to tho fund.
