SWIMMING.
ELMWOOD SCHOOL SPORTS. The annual ewimming sports in connexion with the Elm wood School were held in the Tepid Baths yesterday afternoon. There was a very large attendance of children and parents. During the afternoon an exhibition of trick and fancy swimming and diving was given by Jack and Marjorie Broward, children of the custodian of the baths. Mr J. R. Sinclair, headmaster, and. Mr W. Jones, chairman of the School Committee, were the judges, and Mr G. N. Ormandy waa starter. Following are the results:— Boys' Events. Across Bath—Gordon McGee 2, A!cx. Struthers 2. Championship, 66 2-3 rd yards—Eddie Smith 1, lan Sinclair 2, Roland Hobdar 3. One Length (learners) —Arnold Morley 1, Duncan Stewart '2. Open Handicap, 33 l-3rd yards—Terenoe Shaw 1, Dick Thornton 2.
