MUNICIPAL BAND CONCERTS. The Lyttalt-on Marine Band gave a municipal concert at the railway pales on Saturday evening'. The next concert will bo give® on Thursday evening oil the local bajid rotunda. THE PICTURES. A Vitagraph photo-play, "The Combat," and a good supporting programme waa prev senfed at the Harbour Light Picture Theatre on Saturday afternoon and evening. *The same series will bo. shown to-night. At tomorrow's sessions Viola Dana, will appear in a Metro, drama, "God's Law and Man's Law." "PADDY'S MARKET." A "Paddy's Market" in aid of the Lady Liverpool Fund was held on Saturday at the Lyttelton railway _ gatei. The following had charge of the various stalls: —Produce stall, rMeaaajnes G. Wilson, W. Cleary, E. H. Hendereon, and (J. D. Bundy; meat stall. Misses M. Coot and L. Brown, and Mrs Colin Cook; ice cream stall, Misses E. Curtis, R. /-Bandy, V. Guy, and G. White-Parsons. Tho coSkins competition resulted aa follows: — Cornish Miss L. Scott; fruit short cake, Miss L. Scott; rock cake, Miss G. Earner 1, Miss C. Hempstalk 2; spongo sandwich. Rita Bundy 1, E. "Wright 2; ccones, Miss K. Bain 1, Miss L. Lester 2; rolls, Mis 3 Gwen Parsons 1, G. Hempstalk 2; date acones, Addie Turner 1. The tofSl proceeds animated to £125.
