At the monthly meeting of the St. Albans School Committee a. vote of sympathy was passed to the widow of the late Mr .Fletcher, who for many years was a member of the committee, and at one time chairman, secretary, and treasurer. The question of the supply of coal came up, and 11 was rwolvt-d to heartily endorse the Board's proposed scheme of securing coal in bulk for distribution to committees. The headmaster's report showed tho roll number to bo 623, and tho average attendance 585.
