TATTERSALL'S HORSE. BAZAAR,. Messrs 11. Matson and Co. had au entry of 35 horses on Saturday. Owing to the very broken weather experienced lately, the harvest is being greatly delayed, and consequently very few farm horses arc being put on the market. The. demand oil Saturday was good, and the bulk of the entry was sold. _ Among the sales made were:—For W. ASHBURTON GRAIN MARKET. The weather during the week has been favourable, and good progress has been, mado with stacking and stook threshing.. Very little grain is now in stook. Wheat—Deliveries are now being made in largo quantities, and the grain which, was out m tho recent heavy rain is making its appearance in increasing quantity; the condition of this in most cases is not satisfactory. Tho demand for good-conditioned, sound wheat is sufficient, to absorb the quantity offering. Ont-of-condition and sprouty lines are not so easily placed. Oats —The market is very-firm, and offerings of any description of oats are limited. Algerians may be quoted at from 3s 6d to 3s 9d and up to 3s lOd to 4s for seed lines. Gartons from 3s 9d to 4s, a<scording to description. AH quotes on trucks, stations. Chaff —Demand for good quality is steady, and from 05s to ICOs, on trucks, is current value. Inferior quality is not in demand. SATURDAY'S POULTRY MARKET. Messrs J. B. Merrett and Co. had a large entry on Saturday. Prices were well maintained throughout. Quality in many birds was good, but a number of unfinished birds did not realise high, value. Table chickens realised os Gd to 9s 4d, hens 2s 6d to 5s lOd, pullets us to 12s fld, ducks 4s to 7s Gd, geese 7s to 10s, turkeys lis to 325. all per pair. EGG MARKET. The egg market continues well supplied. . Canterbury Egg Circle first grades are quoted at Is 9d, seconds Is 7d to Is Bd, pullets Is per dozen. 1 NEW COMPANIES.
