CONCERT AT SUMNER.
I Or. Friday evening the Commercial Travellers' Concert Party visited Sumner and pave an excellent programme in aid of the I'ed Cross Kurd. There was a large attendance. It-;ma were contributed by the foilowin?: — Meesrs A. L. Cropp, Cocks, Gould, C. H. Taylor, R. S. Field. W. A. Drake, and a malo choir of 28 voices. Mr A. AVoralry (A.R.M.C.M.) conducted, and lire J. H. Cociu acted as accompanist. At the conclusion of the programme Mr G. W. C. Smithson thanked the party for the splendid programme. During the evening home-made cweet3 were sold by Miss Benson, assisted by Misses Linsell, Beiison, and Miss May Barber.
