CHARGE OF SHOOTING WITH INTENT.
(press association telegram.) W AIM ATE, March 9r Charles Boyes, who was arrested yosterday in connexion with the wounding of Mason Boko, a young Morven Maori, was charged this morning with shooting, with intent to do grievous bodily harm, and wag remanded for a weok, bail being refused. The wounded man was again operated on, a revolver bullet being extracted. It will be a few days before tho doctors can state what his chances of recovery are.
