| -4 RICCARTON. The Riccarton Licensing Committee held a sitting at tlio Magistrate's Court yesterday, Present—Messrs T. A. B. Bailey, S.M. (chairman), A. Boyle, S. Bullock, D. Mulholland, and G. Bailey. A transfer of the license of the Kirwec Hotel from S. N. Shockman to J. Fox was granted. , Mrs J. S. August applied, on behalf of her husband, to be exempted from the necesaitv cf burning a light outside the Islington I ilo'tol at night. Tho application was held over until the Juno meeting of the'committee.
