It was decided that the next field party be held at Tai Tfl-pu. Mr J» II Wilson gave an instructive address, ontitled, "The Way to tho Heart," describing the microscopical structure of tho organ 9 and tissues iorming the alimentary oan.a.l; and illustrating his remarks with a number of diagrame and microscopical 6lides. _Mr J W. Campbell exhibited a, number of micro, lantern slides displaying the various paits of -,l beetle. Mr E. E. Stark operated the iantern. BECKENHAM RESIDENTS' association. Councillor Pcei has given tho "use of the hall free of charge to the Association for several yeare, and ■ Mr (past chairman), in a short speech, expressed the best thanks of tho Association to Mr and Mrs Peek for their kindness, and in handing Mife Mavis a wristlet watch, osprcs6cd the hopo that she would for many years to come look j upon tho gift 11a a small token of the high esteem in which. Jhu - parents were held by the Association.
