Mr H. F. von Haast appeared for the Assignee. Mr -1. Young, acting on behalf of some or the shareholders, opposed the payment of commission on the ground that thore had been unnecessary delay in the winding-up of affairs on the part of the Deputy Assignee at Blenheim, and funds had been allowed to accumulate on which no interest had been obtained. It was represented that the liquidation started in 1911, and the business wfts carried on at a loss until November 21st last, when it was sold for £4398. The Deputy Assignee had £1343 in his hands, which Ead not .earned interest. His Honour.
