CHRIST'S COLLEGE v. LINWOOD. On the first day's play Linwood had a 1-ead of 102 over Christ's College, each side having completed one innings. Christ's College ran up 201 in their second innings, leaving Linwood 103 to make to win, and after a sensational over from Hindmarsh, year's champions succeeded in hitting up the required number just on the call of time, thus securing a three-point will by three wickets. Technical College beat Boys' High School A-by an innings and 169 runs. Scores- — Technical 335, B.H.S. 38 (Lightband n. an d 128 (Davey 52, Graham 22, .King 18, Robinson 14). St. Albans A defeated Christ's College B by 93 runs. Scores:—St. Albans 187 and 195 for five wickets, innings declared closed (Webster 44, Mottram 39, Hickmott 34 Barrett 16). Christ's College 194 and 95 (Strachan 28, Wiyte 14, Talbot 11 not out). Hickmott and Bogeis for St. Albans, and Gould for Uonst s College, were the most successful bowlers. THIRD GRADE. Technical B defeated B.H.S. by 43 rune. Technical made 34 (Bellamy 13), and 97 (Mardon 19, L. Mardon 12, Mitchell 17 Bellamy 14, Thompson 10, Emms 11). ' B.H.S. 51 (Holmes 15, Hearfield 15), and 32 (Holmes 24). Jones thre© for 42 and eight for 10 (including the hat trick), and Logic five for 27, howled best for the winners. Riccarton beat Sydenham by an innings j and 80 runs. Scores:— Riccarton 254 (J.' 11c-Ken-iie 70.- D. McKenzie 50, Bush 36, Hanham 16, Lagan 12, McNaughton 18 not put, McGuire 10). Sydenham 54 (Shcrri2s 19, Dodd 10, ThorH:on 10), and 120 (Thornton 38, Johnston 29, Mather 25 not out). Bush and Hanham fr Riccarton, and Thornton and Sherriffs for Sydenham, were the best bowlers. West Chrisichurch District High School beat St. Albans by 100 runs on the first innings. Scores:—St. Albans 77 (Smith 27, Goodsir 11, Chaster 11). West Christchurch D.H.S. <177 (Sinclair 63, C. Penlington 55, Lilburne 30 not out. Cor.pla.nd 28). West Christchurch defaulted to St. Bede's. Technical College A defeated Christ's College by five wickets and 70 runs. Th© ninth round of the City and Suburban Cricket Association's competitions was concluded on Saturday, when the weather was ideal, and the wickets fast. Results: — SENIOR GRADE.
