At a summoned meeting of tlie Loyal Persoveran.ee Lodge, 1.0.0. F., H.U. K.G. Bro. Lo Comte presided over a good'attendance. * resolution of sympathy with the relatives ol the lata Mr Trerise was carried. . It was also decided that a letter of symnathy be *0 the Itechabifces, of which.'the laio jj£r Trorise wus a. uicinbor. Tbc li&lanccaheet, which showed tho funds of the lodge to be in a satisfactory position was read and adopted. P.G. Bros. Longiiet, Harper, and Henley were unanimously elected as delegates to the District Conference, and Bros. Le Comte and Harper to the Diapensary Board. A visit was paid by P.G.M. Bro. Galiagan, who spoke on tho question of eick benefits to soldier members on active service, and favoured the payment of such. LOYAL ORANGE LODGE. At tho monthly meeting of the Loyal Orange Lodge, No S3, one brother was affiliated, and one candidate initiated. Bro. J. H. Morrow was appointed delegate to the Grand Lodge sessions. After tho general business a social was held. "WOOLSTON SCHOOL COMMITTEE. At the last meeting of the Woolstqn School Committee, a motion of condolence was passed with Mr A. Allan, in tho death of his eon, whoso untimely end took place at tho Woolston Bath. The headmaster reported that tho attcndanco averaged 580 out of a roll call of 610. The school garden had Ibsen graded in the first class, the credit being due to Mr Baird (assistant master). Tho sale of work, held before Christmas, realised £2G 10s. Messrs Bowse, Ramsay, "White, and Mrs Newton were appointed a visiting committee for the ensuing term. RIDGLEY LODGE. At tho annual meeting of the Eidgloy Lodge, 1.0.0.1'VN.Z., Bio. W'itheli, iv.U., presided over a fair attendance of members, i'v.-o new members were proposed, and one initiated Tho D.D.G.M. attended and installed the officers as follows:—J.P.G., Bro. Withell; N.G., Bro. K. E. Joughin; V.G., Bro. F. Milne; F.S., Bro. h. Eldridgo, P.G.; R.S., Bro. H. E. Gott, P.G.; tixar surer, Bro. L. P. White, P.G.; warden, Bro. M. G. Thorno, P.G.; conductor, Bro. A. Taylor, P.G.; chaplain, Bro. W. Greenslade P.G.; R.S.N.G., Bro.. Garrard, P.G.; L.-S.iST.G., Bro. G. W. Rickajrd, P.G.; R.S.V.G., Bro. J. Hague; L.S.Y.G., Bro, Gordon; 1.. G., Bro. H. C. Joughin. After tho installation tho lodge met the Washington and Star of Sydenham Lodges in a card match, which resulted in a win for Ridglev.
