CHARGE OF MANSLAUGHTER.
▼ (PRESS ASSOCIATION' TELEGRAM.) GORE, February 22. Yesterday afternoon Percy George Shave, a clerk, aged 17, was arrested on a charge of manslaughter in having caused the death of llobert Timmis Coomer, on December 22nd, 1917. Coonier, ■who was: aged 73, was a wellknown retired district farmer and-, dredge-owner, and was knocked down by a car driven by Shave, death subsequently ensuing. Accused was brought before Mr Young, S.M., and remanded on bail of £100 and one surety of £100.
