Cloud (0-10) .. ..10 10 The readings taken at tho Ashburton Domain weather station at 0 a.m. ytsterday were:—Baromotcr, 29.63; thermometer, max. 58, min. 46.: ioin, O.lOin, summary and forecast. Moderate to otrouj southerly winds' have predominated. The weather ha® improved to-dny, but it is still cloudy in the northern and Kiist Coast districts. Atmospheric prossure lias increased everywhere. Present indications are for variable breezes, eoutb-eastcrlies 'ruling northwards of Farewell Spit and Kaikoura, and the weather fair to cloudy generally. The barometer has a rising tendency in the North, but will probably fall again shortly in tie South.
