A comprehensive plan of the Government to increase grain and live stock in Western Canada includes the utilising of Indian reserves for agriculture, and the employment of Indian labour. A conference of Premiers with the Dominion Government resolved on greatly increased production during IDIS. The Government will plant every available acre with wheat, and will opon new, vacant areas, and place 25,000 boys and • returned soldiors on the land.
