The- "World's" Stockholm correspondent reports that the appointment of X>r. Wekerel as Hungarian Premier is an important step towards Hungarian independence. King Karl, is in complete harmony •with tho movement in favour of a great democratic national Hungary. Thero is also a strong movement progressing to establish a Hungarian Ministry of War "which, will be independent of Vienna. MUNITION WORKERS' STRIKE. BERNE, August 23. The employees of the Ganz Company, tho largest munition factory in Budapest. have struck for higher wages and bettor food facilities. Two thousand minors have struck on similar grounds. I THE ASIA MINOR MASSACRES. ("The Time#.") ATHENS, August 23. I M. Politis laid before the Chamber four new documents proving conclusively that the persecutions in Asia Minor of Greeks were carried out in accordance with a plan of extermination of tho Greek race in Turkey, which tho German General Staff devised and aided in supervising the execution.
