A RESERVIST FINED
At the Hakaia Magistrate's Court or, Thursday,, before Mr Wyvern Wilson, S.M., Michael Ford, a member of the Second i>ivision, was charged with changing his placo of abode without notifying the Government Statistician. The Magistrate pointed out tho seriousness of the offence, but as there "was no intention to evade military service, he inflicted a nominal penalty of 20a and 7s costs. RANGIORA ENLISTMENTS. Among last week's enlistments at Rangiora were those of Lieut. A. V. Williams and Sergeant-Maior Phillips, members of the Defence Staff in charge of the Rangiora group area. Both were posted to Class C 2. Lieut. Williams was a member of tho Main Expeditionary Force, and Mas invalided back to New Zealand. THURSDAY'S EXLISTMEXTS.
