Hospitals Department, nleaded guilty to forging the "name of Dr. Gray I-Tassall, of the Porirua Mental Hospital, to a Government voucher purporting to bo an authority for tho payment of £84 14s 9d to one J. Thompson, and using tho same forged document as if it were genuine. There wore fivo other similar charges. A detective stated that enquiries proved that Silhy and "J. Thompson" were the same person. When arrested Silsby had £2000 in his possession. The total amount of the defalcations, as far as could ho ascertained, was £2872 3a Bd. ...
