Before the Meat Trust Commission, a ropreeentativo of JJirt and Co. giving evidence as to sending shipments of meat to Armour and Co., America. Armours had been buying cattle largely in Queensland for years. They did not intend to erect works in Australia, but would buy supplies from existing meat works. Hβ did not think Armonre' pur. chases had tended to raise the price of cattle.
