ENERGETIC COMMITTEES,
Matters arosnow moving yerj-.emooth-Iy in connexion with tlie administrative work of the Lady Liverpool Fund. The depot in Liciifieid street is kept very busy receiving donations' both in money apd kind. The finished shirts are being returned very expoditiously, and the committee is well pleased with the way in which they have been done. The committee deeires to thank especially the staff and pupils of Elmwood School for the whole-hearted manner in which they have set to work to canvass for subscriptions and which has resulted in such a handsome addition to the Fund ac £91 13s 2d.
Mrs Holland yesterday morning received a further letter from Lady 'Godley asking for assistance for equipping hospitals, and the matter lias been left in the hands of Mise Thurston, of the Christohurch Hospital. The total amount of deposit in connexion with the Ladies' Fund lip to eleven o'clock yesterday morning waa £536 19s Bd. . ' ' -
