Bros., the National Electric Company, and the Christchurch Tramway Board have generously supplied all the electric fittings needed at the camp. Tho Post, and Telegraph Department has put in numerous telephones at the camp. ' Messrs Ashby Bergh and Co.. per Major Drayton, have kindly provided a full set of nu«s utensils for the infantry mess. This complete field outfit .'s much appreciated. Messrs Smith and Anthony have sent out a batch of war mars tor the Uso of the men in camp. The officer commanding the camp states that any donations that the public may care to give in tho way of comforts for the men, would be very gratefully received. Cake, tobacco, papers, books, magazines would be suitable, and no doubt donors will think of other things that may be acceptable. Gifts of oate, bran, chaff, and carrots are particularly desired, and donors may consign their donations to tho Expeditionary Force, Matson's Store, Addington, free of charge. The C.E.M.S. and V.M.C.A. are doing social service work at the Addington Camp Ground, and would like a supply of magazines and periodicals. Aiiy person having periodicals can leave them at the V.M.C.A. Building. The Association is also sending writing material to tho garrisons at Lj-ttelton and Diamond Harbour. Messrs Brown Bros, have supplied electrical fittings for tho lighting of the Camp. The firm has also offered to supply /electricians to the Defence Department free of charge. Colonel Chaflov received an offer from Mr A. C. Nottingham yesterday morning of 400 gallons of Jeyos Disinfectant Fluid, and a quantity of soap. Mr Nottingham will deliver as soon as required.
