MALVERN SUB-UNION
It was decided at the beginning of the Malvern Sub-Union's competition that tho winners should meet a representative team _ from the remaining clubs on the winner's ground. Tho clubs, howovor, did not Respond very well to the call to send in players' names, and the representative team was practically a Sheffield team, with a few Springfield players. A fast and rather interesting gamo resulted in a win for Kirwee by 8 points to 6. For the winners, T. McGovcrn scored two tries. S. "Worsfold converting one. For tho losers, A. Hewitt scored and E. Hewitt kicked a penalty goal. Mr W. F. Blackwell wa-3 referee. Tho following team has been selected to represent Malvern against Canterbury Juniors, at Sheffield, on Saturday next: —_>. Deans, W.
