SATURDAY'S REPRESENTATIVE MATCHES.
Next Saturday will see the firefc representative match of the season decided, when Canterbury will meet South Canterbury at Lancaster Park. The southerners are reported to be fairly strong all round, in spite of the fact that they have last Lynch and Ckxdcroft, who are with the All Blacks, and in view of the good display in local club contests the first match of the Canterbury representatives is being awaited with great interest. Another Timaru team will be engaged simultaneously on the South ground, where the Christchurch and Timaru High Schools' fifteens will play their annual match. Prior to these two games the Gauterbury B team will play the Hurunui Sub-Union's representatives, and the North and South Canterbury Public Schonl representatives will play their annual fixture. The curtain-raisers will commence at 1.30 p.m., and the other two matches at 2.45 p.m
