Ser.iorSergoant Ryan stated that; in company with three other firemen of th© Arawa, Nelson got drunk, and, as they wero rolling about.the footpaths and making themselves obnoxious, they were advised by Constable Williams to get on board the ship. Nelson refused, and his behaviour led to his being arreted. He was fined 20s, or ono mouth's mprisoninent. • Anders Hansen w&s charged with obstructing Constable Williams in tho CAjcution ot" his duty, and with using obscene language Tbo Sergeant said that when Hansen saw his mate arrested hy Constable Williams, be twice attempted to pull him away, and. failing in tbis, be followed up and used obscene language. ...
