ALLEGED FRAUD.
E. James Griffon pleaded not guilty on nine counts of attempting to defraud and forgery. Mr liaymonJ said accused was charged on tnree separate transactions. - On the firif charge evidence was given that accused secured 10s from line Douglas Hunter by. giving hirer an >rder, signing it "William Hampton," -iter representing that he woa an employe© qi James Caxragb/ and wished

Accused elected not to giva ovidenco. Addressing the jury, ho said ne did not remember "calling on any of thoso places." , The jury, without leaving the box. round prisoner guilty. Mr Raymond said there wero two otiier indictments against prisoner.
