The market has been well supplied with local and Island fruit during the week. Apples, dessert, are selling at 2d to 2}d; cooking, ljd to 2d per lb; oranges, 6s 6d to 7s 6d; pears, 5s to 6s 6d ; pineapples, 9s to 10s ; lemons, Aus- ♦ ™',--n. 13 S 6d to 14s; Italian, 24s 6d per ease. Vegetables aro plentiful, except cauliflowers. Cabbages are selling at Is to 2s 9d ; cauliflowers, 3s to 7s 6d; carrots, 6d; turnips, 6d ; parsnips, 6d per dozen, and onions in strings, 8s per cwt.
