Johneon. From Paparua County Council, in reference to taking control of a certain portion of tho ilalvern water-race district at present under its administration. It was decided to take the necessary measures to compel occupiers of land to clear gorse. Instructions were given for certain works on roads and \i-ater-races to be carried out.
