YOUTHFUL ROBBERS.
A NORTH SYDNEY INCIDENT. (By Cable.—Frees Association.—Copyright.) SYDNEY, June 4. A woman living at North Sydney went to Woywoy, on tho Hawkesbury, for a week, and left her two eons, aged eight and ton respectively, in chargo of their father. "When the mother returned sho found that the house had been ransacked, tho wardrobes forced, and nearly £200 worth of jewellery and olectro-plato was missing. The rolice wero advised, and detectives instituted an enquiry. Two black masks and two revolvers wero found under a bed, tho circumstances pointing to an audacious robbery. Finger-orints on the window, however, proved to bo thosd of children. Questions followed, and tho boys admitted their guilt, explaining that while theiV father was at work they held up the house, and removed the valuables to a hiding-place underneath tb» house, where the property : wos found, to tho delight of tho owners and tho embarrassment of tho polico officials.
