CAUSE OF THE ACCIDENT.
ALLEGED FAULTY NAVIGATION. OTTAWA, Juno 3. Tho Storstad's owners state that tho Storetad's crow rendered every assistance they could after tho accident, and that Mrs Andresen never made the charges attributed to her, which are merely tho inventions of "yellow" nowspapers.
The Storstad's owners havo filed a reply to tho Canadian-Pacific Company's damage 6uit, alleging that the accident was really due to tho faulty navigation of tho Empress of Ireland.
Tho bodies of Colonel and Mrs Bloomfiold havo beon identified.
Tho identification of Miss Bloomfield is not quit© certain. ■
