Tho annual mooting of the Geraldine Debating Society wa_ held on Monday. Thero was a large attendance, and Mr T. Hughe*- (president 1 ! occupied the chair. The election of efneyrs for tho ensuing .year resulted as follows: — President. Mr T. Sherratt; vice-presi-dents, Messrs M. Campbell and J. Martin; secretary. Mr. A. J. Brown; committee, Mrs'Bannehr. Mrs Lochner, Mrs A. J. Brown, Messrs A. Bain, F. Maslin, and Rev. B. Dudley.
