A CHRISTCHURCH COMPLAINT.
The domestic servant problem ha= cropped up in a somewhat unusual quarter. Speaking to a "Press" reporter last night, the Rev. F. Rulo said that he was at "his wit's ends" in"hi_ enorts to secure a suitable woman as cook for the Presbyterian Orphanage in High s road. He stated that ho bad the building properly furnished and sufficient money t& run it on proper hi.es, but at the present time he was afraid to take in any more children, as there, was nobody to look after them the present staff havipg all they could .possibly, do to attend to their present charges. He had room for a fair" number, and he knew of several pitiable cases that he was most anxious to deal with, built was quite impossible at 'he present time. He added earnestly that: the whole of his worry would be "at an end if he could get a good, capablo cook.
