In spite of the neap* tides a very heavy sea was experienced yesterday, and caused further sea erosion at the rear of Revell street, tho sea cutting in considerably and washing away a portion of the protection works that had previously withstood tho attack. The groynes aro only now approaching a position where it is hoped they will have the effect of preventing further damage being done.
