FULLERS' PICTURES.

..'.A topical.film of; much interest takes a 'chief.' part. in the. change of pro. gramme- presented at tho Colosseum last evening. This is a very complete and car.tnuy-prepared' pictorial study and record of tho life oi the military camp which, has I just been held at Kowai Bush. A topical subject always attracts a good audience, and this was no exception last as the audience was of a 6_se and humour to enjoy the- local film. The manoeuvres;received full 'treatment, and special, attention was naturally bestowod "upon tho visit and inspection by Sir ian - Hamilton. The ordinary life of the camp received full recognition, arid.pleased the ahdience as much, as anything. The damage dono by the remarkable and sudden

gale which wrecked the casual camp and caused it to come to a sudden end proved of great interest, in addition to this film the programme had' a splendid "star" film in two parts,"The Threads of Destiny." This

rightly comprised practically the whole of the.second half, and showed really brilliant dramatic, work by the presenting company., as it was run off. The story is above the average for interest, and the dramatic situations were handled exceptionally well throughout. Tn. rest of the programme maintains the usual high standard: of ment. " The "Graphic" was more than, good, a nei the scenii or ••Picturesque Greece" was most attractive. A .r«ry fine film also was that dbpiciing ""*.e early f*_e of flowers!; "The. Elusive Diamond,'.' "The Tale of, a Cat," and "A Btago Flirtation" filled out a fine programme, whicji. be : repeated this evening. The orchestral work; was good throughout. ~: ''77 .;■ .'.'.■■ ':.•■ : ■ *■:.■■
