CULVERDEN.

The funeral of Miss Olive i/ouisa Hare, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs W. E. Hare, of Swindon, Culverdeu, took place on Thursday. Tho cortego left Swindon at 1, p.m. for the Culverden cemetery, passing through the township shortly after 2 p.m. Tho hoarse was followed by the school children, and tho cortego consisted of about twenty-seven vehicles. The Rev. Mr Campbell officiated at the groveside. Widespread sympathy is felt throughout the district for the bereaved* parents and family, who aro well-known and respected residents.
