GLEE AND MADRIGAL SOCIETY.
A good programme nas been arranged for the Christchurch Glee and -Madrigal Society's first concert, which is to bo given in tho Choral Hall on rhursday next. Some of tho best works or Stanrord Lloyd. Pinsuti, Frederick Bridge, and Wagner will bo'given. Tho choir consists of eighty well-trained voices, tho soloists engaged bem<r Mr Sydney Williamsou. r> rTc.M.L. '{baritone} and Mrs MncWhirtor (soprano). Mi-.s Audrey Gibson. L.T.C.. L.L.A.8., will act as accompanist.
