The secretary of the South Australian Association wrote, in.reply to tbe• Council's invitation for.a State team to visit New Zealand during tbo 1914-15 season, regretting that owing to matches in South Africa-and other inter-State fixtures, which would 'take a number of their players for a considerable period, they would not be able to send a team during the coming season. , After some discussion, in which it waa stated that there was:a possibility of arranging : tours with Queensland, a Melbouino Club team, or a,Fijian eleven, it wao-re-solved to defer consideration of the matter till'the noxt mooting. ; -_77j .
