CLEARING SALES.
The New Zealand Farmers' Co-opera-tive Association, in conjunction with Messrs Dalgoty and Co., held a clearing sale at Kirwee on Thursday on account of Mr D. B. Hutchison. Tiiero was a largo attendance, and competition was keen, good prices being the result. Sales: — Sheep: 50 wethers li)s. 74 wethers los 7d, 107 ewe lambs 16s 9d. Cattle: Cows £o 2e 6d to £8 los, steers £2 7s Gd to £10, calf fH)s. Pigs: Porkers to' 37s b'd. Berkshire sow 30s. Horses: One gelding j."20 10s. There was a very fair attendance, and tbe following prices were realised: —Sheep: 100 four-tooth ewes 21s 3d, 01 four-tooth ewes 23s Pd. 138 six and eight-tooth ewes 21<*. 107 mixed sex lambs 14s. Cattle: Cows, £3 to £12, steers £3 10s to £0 15s, bull £>\. calves (yearlings) 24s to £2. Horses: Mares £5 'to'£3o, geldings £13 10s to £40, filly £30.
